Renewed Research Stays

About Renewed Research Stays

Alumni are usually eligible to apply for support for a renewed research stay in Germany at least three years after they have completed their initial research stay in Germany and returned abroad. A period of at least three years should usually elapse between the sponsorship of renewed research stays.

Alumni are eligible for short visits of up to 30 days, or for longer research grants of up to 3 months. In both cases, alumni are eligible to receive an allowance. If the alum/na wishes to participate in a conference, they may be eligible for reimbursement of conference fees.
